  •  Flowers are a naturally occurring product and therefore are of a perishable nature. If cared for properly, you can expect a life span of 7 days; this can be slightly shorter or longer depending on the variety and how they are looked after.

     

    Tips for fresh flowers:

     

    • Cut stems on an angle
    • Change the vase water daily (at least every two days)
    • Ensure your vessel or vase is always clean
    • Ensure there are no leaves or foliage in the vase water as this breeds bacteria
    • Keep out of direct sunlight yes you heard right! Flowers do love light but direct sun light can be damaging to leaves and petals. Place your arrangement in a light, airy spot that has naturally light surroundings as opposed to harsh, direct sunlight.
    • Use flower food if available- this can help greatly in prolonging vase life.
